RETURNS AND EXCHANGE
We assure you will love your experience at Vanya but in case you don’t find the product to be satisfactory and wish to return, our easy return policies will help you to do so.
1. In case the product is damaged or defective, the return request needs to be raised within 3 working days of receiving the product by contacting our customer care at firstname.lastname@example.org. You should return such unused product(s), with the original folds and packaging retained.2. Notwithstanding anything contained in this policy, no customer requests for return or exchange of products purchased on the website will be entertained, unless you raise the return request within 3 days of receiving the product.
3. Damages occurred due to improper product care and usage can be voidable as per Vanya's return policy.
4. Replacement of the products tendered on the website is subject to inspection and checking by Vanya's assigned quality check team.
1. Raise a return request by either contacting our customer care at +91 9998559338 by directly clicking on the floating WHATSAPP icon on the webpage or write to us at email@example.com stating the reason along with an image of the product.
2. Following the acceptance of your return request from our team, a pick-up will be arranged at your registered delivery address, within 3 (three) working days of receiving the product (date of delivery). You may also choose to courier the product to our designated address, within 3 (three) working days of receiving the product (date of delivery):
Any further requests for return will not be entertained after such period.
3. You must mention your name, order number and mobile number, on the top of the packaging in which the product is returned in accordance with the aforementioned procedure. You must ensure that the original receipt/invoice is also included with the product when sending it to Vanya through registered courier.
4. If you decide to send us an e-mail, it must contain the comprehensive details of of the defects/complaints of the product delivered to you. Please note that Vanya shall examine the returned products for all such defects/variations, on the basis of the customer’s e-mail(s).
5. Notwithstanding any conditions set out here, while returning or exchanging the products, you must furnish a proof of purchase such as shipping invoice, gift receipt or member purchase history.
6. On receipt of the product from you in the manner described above, Vanya in its sole discretion will decide whether to issue a credit note/voucher that can be redeemed against any other future purchase on the website, or to offer an alternative product (of such price, which is equal to or less than the price at which the product intended to be returned was sold) of the customer’s choice in exchange, or to reject such request for return.
7. On receipt of the product in the manner described above, if Vanya in its sole discretion finds that the product is ineligible for return, our team will contact you on your registered Email-ID or phone number with further instructions. In case, Vanya decides in this regard to return the product back to you, then such you (the customer) shall bear and pay for such courier charges.
DEFECTIVE OR FAULTY PRODUCT
1. If you receive the product(s) in packaging that appears to have been tampered with, damaged or is in an unsealed condition, you are advised not to accept such product. You are advised to immediately get in touch with Vanya at firstname.lastname@example.org or whatsapp/ call +91 9998559338.
2. Upon Vanya being satisfied at its sole discretion that the product was not damaged by any actions on the part of the customer and after inspecting the product for signs of use, Vanya shall either issue credit note or exchange/replace the product.
COLOUR, HANDWORK, SPECIFICATIONS & DESCRIPTION
1. The details of the the products or product specifications (weight, colour, handwork, size etc.) as mentioned on the Vanya site are only approximate values, any request for return based these attributes will not be entertained.
2. If you are preferring items with beaded embroidery and sequins, you must be aware of the fact that these shiny embellishments have a tendency to come off if not cared for properly.
3. You must be aware of the description of the product is left to the aspirations of the handloom weavers and to the creative freedom of content writers. As such a product will not be considered for return or replacement on the sole basis of violation of the content description - either short or long description.
4. While placing an order you are advised to keep in mind about minor variations in colour that can occur due to various reasons. Vanya tries its best to reproduce the exact colour of the product on your screen, as the original product. Variation may also be felt because of different resolutions, monitors, video cards, operating systems, and internet browsers used. Garments also have a tendency to reflect different shades of colour under different lights. A 10% variation in shade is considered as normal.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER
Customer might not be able to cancel any order placed on the Website, once it has been processed or approved by Vanya. In the event, you intend to cancel any purchase order placed on the Website at any time before the order has been approved, you must immediately email us at email@example.com or either contacting our customer care at +91 9998559338 by directly clicking on the floating WHATSAPP icon on the webpage with your the SUBJECT as ‘CANCEL- <ORDER NO>’ . If the item has been approved, cancellation request will not be processed.
Vanya at its sole discretion reserves the right to decide the form of refund i.e. credit note or an offer of exchange that would be provided to you. Further, Vanya would endeavour to accomplish your refund processing within 7(Seven) working days from the receipt of the returned product in this regard. 1. In case of any dispute regarding any cancellation, refunds or return under this Policy, you can contact Vanya at email@example.com or whatsapp/call at +91 9998559338. However, the decision of Vanya in such case shall be final and binding. This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of India (Indian IT ACT 2002). The Customer hereby consents subjected to Surat jurisdiction of Gujarat, India.
2. In any event, Vanya's liability shall be restricted to the price paid by you for the product in question.
